Transportes Aéreos Portugueses (TAP) has risen two places in the AirHelp Score 2024. It is now ranked 29th place in the list consisting of all the best airlines in the world. TAP is ranked 29th place due to its global score of 6.97.
TAP Rises In Global Ranking
TAP Airlines ranked 31st position during the year 2024. Now, the Portuguese airline has moved 2 positions up which ranks them at 29th place in the list of best airlines in the world. Although TAP has moved up 2 places, their overall score has decreased compared with last year. Their score was 7.16 in the year 2023 and the overall score in the year 2024 is 6.97.

The Portuguese airline has improved its score in some areas. It has increased scores in punctuality and the quality of the services that the airline offers. TAP also showed a decrease in complaints management score. AirHelp has stated:
In the analysis regarding Portugal, it shows that TAP Air Portugal is in 29th position in the ranking, with an overall score of 6.97 with the lowest weight being flight punctuality (5.9). In complaints processing, the airline has a score of 7, and in service quality a score of 8.
During the last 5 years, TAP has achieved the best-ever score in the ranking of AirHelp Score 2024. This year’s ranking is the best since the year 2019 by the company. It was ranked 61st position in 2019 and the airlines managed to move up to 33rd place in the year 2022. Finally, they climbed to 31st position last year and now their ranking is at 29th place in the list.
Brussels Airlines Gains No.1 Stop
AirHelp analyzes all the airlines around the world and then ranks them. Their criteria for evaluation include punctuality, customer service, and claim processing of the airline. The latest ranking has revealed that Brussels Airlines has been placed in first place this year. They have surpassed Qatar Airways which had been in the top place since 2016. AirHelp states:
This year, it is up to a European airline to take first place: Brussels Airlines. The Belgian airline rose 11 places compared to last year thanks to a score of 8.12, obtained based on 7.8 for punctuality, 7.9 for user experience, and 8.7 for complaints handling.
Qatar Airways has been moved down to second position in the list. They have dropped their score from 8.38 points in the year 2023 to 8.11 points in the latest ranking. United Airlines is ranked at third place with a ranking of 8.04 points in the list. AirHelp Score ranking has continued since 2015. The purpose of the ranking is to evaluate the services of the airlines so air passengers can get a better experience at the best airline company.
